Homemade lemonade iced tea is one of my favorite refreshing drinks for summer. It is perfect for any time of day, but especially refreshing with a hot weather meal!

Ingredients and Substitutions

- Tea Bags. I prefer a mix of regular black tea along with a tea blend and an Earl Grey tea. You can also use all green tea bags to make green tea lemonade.
- Lemonade Mix. I like a lemonade concentrate mix like True Lemon Strawberry Lemonade for this lemonade iced tea. It has very low sugar and is sweetened with stevia.
How to Make This Lemonade Iced Tea Recipe
Below are step-by-step instructions for how to cook this recipe with the best results. The recipe card at the bottom shows the exact cooking time and temperatures.

- Boil 8 cups of cold water. Pour the boiling water into an 8-cup glass pouring container or two 4-cup containers. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes, then carefully discard the tea bags.
- Add the lemonade mix to a large glass pitcher or serving dispenser with a spout and stir with 8 cups of water. Carefully pour the tea into the pitcher and stir. Serve over ice and with lemon slices if desired.
Expert Tips
- Add more sweetener like sugar, agave, sugar substitutes, or a simple syrup if you like the sweet tea lemonade.
- Add fresh mint leaves for a beautiful presentation.
- For stronger tea flavor, use two parts tea to one part lemonade.

Ingredients
- 1 Earl Grey teabag
- 1 green tea bag
- 6 English breakfast tea bags
- 8 True Lemon Strawberry Lemonade Packets
- 16 cups cold water divided in two
Instructions
- Boil 8 cups of water. Pour the water into a large container and brew the tea for 5 minutes or according to the package directions.1 Earl Grey teabag, 1 green tea bag, 16 cups cold water, 6 English breakfast tea bags
