The quest for the perfect snack bar
I'm a huge bar fan.ย I love to try bars and compare flavors and textures.ย No two bars are alike but two of my favorite flavors are peanut butter and lemon.
What I like about FitJoy's bars is that the flavor on the label matches what the bar tastes like.ย There is definitely no taste bait and switch here!ย Lemon tastes like lemon, peanut butter tastes like peanut butter, and chocolate tastes like chocolate!
The texture is also very pleasing.ย Instead of the usual chewy protein bar, this grain free protein bar has a light and almost fluffy texture.
FitJoy protein bars are also GMO and gluten free.
My favorite flavor is Grandma's Lemon square.ย I'm a huge fan of all things lemon.ย Given that the bar has 20 grams of protein and only 4 grams of sugar, its definitely better for you than Grandma's traditional lemon square dessert.

Giving up grain is definitely a personal nutritional choice that should be discussed with your doctor or registered dietician.ย Many people report the following benefits from reducing and/or eliminating grain from their diets:

Peanut Butter Chocolate Grain Free Smoothie Recipe
One of my favorite easy breakfast ideas is a smoothie!ย This smoothie is unlike any smoothie though. It's packed with lots of protein and healthy fats and topped with a yummy FitJoy bar.
This smoothie is the perfect post-workout meal!ย When we leave the gym on weight training days, our trainer is always telling us to get in lots of protein and good calories!ย This smoothie is perfect for those days or days when you need a quick meal on the go!
