This recipe can be made with no blender and instead, use a food processor. You may be able to puree by hand but it will definitely take a while to do so.
If pureeing by hand I recommend using a tool like a molcajete (a tool to make guacamole) or something similar to really mash up the berries. You will definitely want to push them through a fine mesh sieve to get out any large chunks and seeds.
