Preheat the oven to 350F. Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl.
13.25 oz yellow cake mix, 15 oz pumpkin puree, 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice, ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips
Use a cookie scoop to measure out 12 cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place cookies 2 inches apart. You may need to split the cookies between two sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool on a cooling rack before serving.

Store leftover pumpkin cookies in a single layer in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days. Store refrigerated or in the freezer for longer storage.Use canned pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
