Make these easy candied Christmas walnuts for the holiday season. Guests will love adding these sweet and spiced walnuts to salads or eating as a sweet snack.
Turn the heat to low and add in the walnuts. Stir constantly for 3-5 minutes or until well coated. Do not cook too long or the walnuts will burn.
1 cup whole raw walnuts
Remove the walnuts from the heat and place them on the prepared cookie sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired. Allow the Christmas walnuts to cool and harden before storing.
