Juicy air fryer chicken burgers are the best weeknight dinner that is super easy, full of flavor, and quick to make. A healthy swap for beef you can make from frozen!
1 pound ground chicken, 3 tablespoon mayonnaise, 1 cup panko breadcrumbs, 1 large egg, ¼ cup cilantro, 2 teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon salt
Use your hands to gently incorporate the ingredients. Do not overmix.
Use one hand to evenly score the meat mixture down the middle and across. Make four equally thick patties.
Place patties onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Freeze the prepared burgers for 10 minutes.
Air fry at 375F for 5-6 minutes per side or until the internal temperature registers 165F when a meat thermometer is inserted into the center.
Notes
Store leftover chicken burger patties in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
Store frozen chicken burgers in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
Do not skip the 10-minute freeze. This helps to keep the burgers together during air frying.
