Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt, sprinkles, and protein powder. In another bowl combine melted butter, egg or applesauce, sugar, and almond milk.
2 cups flour, 2 teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ¼ cup vanilla protein, ½ teaspoon sea salt, ½ cup unsalted butter, 2 large egg, ½ cup sugar, ½ cup almond milk, rainbow sprinkles
Slowly fold dry ingredients into wet. Stir until just combined, do not over-mix.
Using a plastic bag, place the donut mixture into the bag and snip one bottom corner. Fill the donut pan with three circles of donut batter. Gently tap the donut pan to even them out.
Bake for 10 minutes. Donuts will be done when a toothpick comes out clean.
Mix all frosting ingredients except for sprinkles. Add milk as needed to thicken the frosting to the desired amount. Dip donuts in frosting then top with sprinkles.
1 teaspoon almond extract, ½ cup powdered sugar, 3 tablespoon melted butter, rainbow sprinkles, milk
