Cottage cheese spinach dip is a healthy twist on a classic dip favorite! Creamy and flavorful high-protein spinach dip is made with a blend of Greek yogurt and blended cottage cheese, making it so smooth and delicious! The perfect dip for snacking, game day, summer parties, or even baked for Thanksgiving or game day!
Add the cottage cheese to a food processor. Process until smooth and creamy.
1 cup low fat cottage cheese
Add in the mayo, Neufchatel, Greek ygourt, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese and blend again.
1 tablespoon mayo, 4 oz. Neufchatel cheese, 2 tbap Parmesan cheese, 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
In a large bowl, add the blended ingredients along with the spinach and mozzarella. Stir to combine and serve cold.
10 oz. frozen, chopped spinach, 4 oz. part-skim mozzarella
Hot Cottage Cheese Spinach Dip
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Follow the instructions above for preparation.
Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Add the dip mixture to the baking dish and bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
To lightly brown the top, broil the dip for a few minutes, watching closely to avoid vurning.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.Use frozen chopped spinach instead of fresh baby spinach.Be sure to thoroughly remove all excess water from the spinach before adding it to the dip mixture to avoid it getting too watery.To add even more protein, stir in some cooked chicken.If making hot, reheat in the oven at 350°F for 20 minutes or until heated through.Serve with chips, crackers, veggies, or your favorite dip accompaniment.
