Instructions
Heat the pellet grill on high for 15 minutes.
Prepare the corn by carefully pulling down the husks and removing the silks. Rinse corn cobs and then carefully pull the husks back up.
6 ears fresh corn
Optional: Soak husks in water for 30 minutes. Alternatively, generously rinse the outside of the husks under water.
Place the corn directly on the grill grates. Rotate the corn a quarter turn every 5 minutes for 15-20 minutes or until the desired doneness.
Combine softened butter and chili lime seasoning and set aside.
4 tablespoon butter,
1 tablespoon chili lime seasoning
Carefully remove the pellet grill corn to a platter and pull back the husks.
Evenly spread chili lime butter over the top of the corn. Salt to taste. Top with additional toppings as desired and serve.
salt to taste
Notes
When operating a pellet grill, use grilling tongs or a heat glove to avoid burns.
Carefully yet quickly rotate the ears of corn to avoid heat loss.
If you prefer more char or grill marks on the corn, rotate halfway once during grilling.
For less char or grill marks, move the pellet grill corn to the top rack for less direct heat.
Soak the husks in water for 30 minutes if desired.
